1. What we do

Harborline Trade Consulting provides import-export consulting, buyer development, sales support, SEO and digital marketing, and — through our life-sciences sourcing division — connects buyers with licensed Indian manufacturers and processors of medicines and Ayurvedic goods. Each assignment is defined in a written proposal or quotation before work begins.

2. Proposals and acceptance

A proposal we send you is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work starts when you accept the proposal in writing and pay any advance stated in it. Anything outside the written scope — extra markets, extra product lines, additional revisions — is quoted separately.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate business, product and compliance information on time, to hold the licences your side of the transaction requires (such as import permits in your country), and to respond to approvals and sample requests within the timelines in the proposal so schedules do not slip.

4. Fees and payment

Fees, advances and payment milestones are set out in your proposal. Invoices are payable within the stated period; late payments may pause ongoing work until settled. Third-party costs — freight, testing laboratories, certification bodies, portal fees — are charged at actuals unless we agree a fixed figure.

5. Timelines and outcomes

We work to the milestones in your proposal and keep you updated weekly. Export results also depend on authorities, carriers and buyers, so dates and projections are good-faith estimates, not guarantees — we will always tell you plainly when a target needs revising.

6. Confidentiality

Business information, buyer lists, pricing and product formulations shared during an assignment stay confidential and are used only for that assignment. This duty continues after the engagement ends.

7. Liability

Our liability for any assignment is limited to the fees paid for that assignment. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, nor for delays caused by authorities, carriers, manufacturers or other third parties. Regulatory advice we give is practical guidance, not legal counsel — consult a qualified professional for legal questions.

8. Ending an engagement and contact

Either side may end an engagement with 15 days' written notice; work completed up to that date is billed as agreed. If any part of these terms is unclear, email us at hello@harborlinetrade.com and we will explain it before you sign anything.
